There are real advantages to having a Bay Ridge Season Pass.  We are conveniently located and it is usually easy to get on the course.  A pass means that you do not have to worry about time constraints and bad weather.  We are also a great course for families and couples and a fun place to bring house guests or friends when you do not want to commit an entire day to golf.  We work hard to make sure that Bay Ridge is green, trimmed, attractive and enjoyable.  We have been working to improve the course for over 30 years.  Programs that involve tree replacement and abundant gardens will continue to be an important part of our work at Bay Ridge.

As the cold, sloppy rain and snow descend on us and winter sets in there is comfort in recalling last year’s sunny summer.  It was so nice to know that we could plan a golf game or a picnic and never have it interrupted by rain.  We are actually very proud of the fact that we could give you green grass from tee to green all summer.  The pumps and Peter’s nerves were stressed, but the results were worth it.  However, we couldn’t have done it without the help of our golf course crew!  Paul Crittenden again worked the mowers while keeping an eagle eye out for any problems.  He consistently made suggestions to improve the playing conditions for all of you.  Jeff Bakke joined us as Greensman and the greens have never been better.  Finally, Ben Ehlert was our summer apprentice and turned out to be both a great worker and a good golfer.  We look forward to having this excellent crew on the course next summer.

Chuck Fedorchak kept morning golfers on their toes and put in long weekends so we could enjoy two summer weddings.  Chuck was a “hero” this summer and we look forward to having him join us for what we think is his fifteenth year in the golf shop.

We also look forward to having you join our Bay Ridge “family” in 2008 .

                                                                                                Sincerely,
