Dear Bay Ridge Golfers and Old Friends,

It was the most enjoyable summer we have had in years and also a pretty good golf season. With the added efforts of Paul Crittenden; our clubhouse mainstays, Chuck Fedorchak and Steve Uglinica; and Agata from Poland, we enjoyed another successful season of golf in Door County.

Bay Ridge Golf Course is a great place to meet friends for a quick round of golf in the early morning or lingering twilight of the summer and to go when you want to get away from work and just play a few holes by yourself. Bay Ridge is also a great place to bring house guests and relatives when you want to get outside and enjoy an activity together.

Whether Bay Ridge is the only place you play or one of several places you golf during the season, you can be sure we will work hard to keep the course green, trimmed, attractive and enjoyable. We have been working to improve Bay Ridge for 30 years.

Next year we will be replacing our fleet of 1998 golf cars with new Club Car power carts, but plan to keep any price increase to a minimum. Last summer we expanded our areas of natural grass, which reduced our reliance on fossil fuels and thereby reduced atmospheric emissions by over 20%. The time savings have been invested in other improvements to the course.  We will continue our efforts to reduce chemical applications, fuel consumption and the use of water in order to protect our environment, while maintaining the beauty and careful grooming of the course. Our program of adding or replacing trees on the course will continue at a rapid pace in the future.

Please note on your pass form if you would like to participate in one of our existing golf groups or in our couples scramble. Group play is often at a reduced rate. If you have some friends or couples who would like to start or revive a 9-hole league please contact us. We welcome new groups and look forward to having you play at Bay Ridge.

Tee time reservations may be made by phone to the golf shop during regular business hours. We also accept MasterCard and Visa.

We are looking forward to our second thirty years and would love to have you join us. Our very best wishes for a healthy, happy holiday.

Sincerely,

Peter and Dianne Trenchard
